Strong-Drive® SDWS FRAMING Screw
Strong-Drive® SDWS FRAMING Screw
The SDWS Framing screw is specifically designed and load-rated to replace 16d, 10d, and 8d nails in framing applications. The screw is code listed in IAPMO UES ER-192 and complies with the 2018 and 2021 IRC® and IBC® code requirements for common wood framing applications.
This screw features a SawTooth point that allows for fast installations with reduced torque, eliminating the need for predrilling in most cases. Its head is designed to countersink easily, providing a clean and flush finish. The T25 bit securely holds the 6-lobe recess, ensuring better drive control. The screw is available in various lengths, including 2 1/2", 3", 3 1/2", and 4", to suit different needs.
